good heart

Tell us one thing you hope people never say about you.

“He has a good heart…”

First, it’s not true.

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”
– Jeremiah 17:9

No one has a good heart.

Second, the phrase is often used as a way to say someone means well but is misinformed. It is often followed with “but…”.

I’d rather you just tell me the truth. Thanks!
